HARWICH parents and their children can enjoy a new nature club experience during the summer holidays.
The Tuesday Nature Club will take place every Tuesday at 12.30pm at the Food for Thought Café on Stour Road, at the Harwich Ukraine Support Projects headquarters.
It is being run by Harwich Hive, a community group supporting families with children in Harwich.
Youngsters can explore the “wonders” of nature’s healing plants, get hands-on with creative crafts, and enjoy snacks – all for £5.
A different activity will be provided each week.
All ages are welcome, but under-14s must be accompanied by an adult.
Free spaces are also available. Speak to Sarah Nicholson, of Harwich Hive, or visit the café or talk to Jessin Hood to learn more.
Food for Thought Catering was set up by Jade Gosling, Amy Reynolds and Mark Wood and serves affordable meals for the community.
The idea was inspired by the trio's time volunteering at the Parkeston Dining Club, with the goal to make meals as affordable as possible during the cost-of-living crisis.
