A PLANNING application for 48 new homes in Great Bromley has been submitted to Tendring Council.
Ceres Property, on behalf of Privo Land Ltd, has submitted a plan for the construction of up to 48 dwellings including associated open space, drainage, park, and landscaping for land north of Harwich Road in Great Bromley.
The current use of the site is as paddock land with small areas of grazing land.
The application says the land has no protected or priority species or other important biodiversity features.
The proposed units include 34 houses to be sold at market price but it is now known the number of bedrooms each property will have.
There are also eight social, affordable, or intermediate rent houses planned, and then six houses with affordable home ownership to help first-time buyers.
Tendring Council will decide on the plans.
