HARWICH’S Electric Palace Cinema and The Pier brasserie are bringing back their popular Movie Nights – with a 1980s classic starting the season.
Movie Nights will take place monthly at the historic Electric Palace Cinema, followed by a three-course dinner at The Pier.
The first film is Back to the Future on Thursday, September 12, with each month’s feature being an “iconic movie”.
Tickets cost £50, which includes a cinema ticket, a welcome drink, and a three-course dinner at The Pier, which is run by Milson Hotel and Restaurants.
The Movie Nights are:

- Wednesday, October 30, 2024: Wonka - Matinée
- Thursday, November 7, 2024: The Devil Wears Prada
- Thursday, December 5, 2024: Elf - Christmas Screening
- Thursday, January 9, 2025: Footloose
- Thursday, February 6, 2025: Bridget Jones’s Diary - Valentine's Special
- Thursday, March 6, 2025: Barbie
For the Wonka matinée – which is during half-term - tickets are £25 per child, which includes a cinema ticket and a special children's menu.
There is also the chance to win a coveted Golden Ticket, offering a special prize that will add a magical touch to the day.
The Pier is also offering an “upgrade" to last year’s set menu, offering guests a choice of courses on their dinner menu.
