HARWICH Yachting Beach proved the ideal stage for a new play marking the anniversary of the Kindertransport and telling the stories of child refugees.

From Here On, by the Gecko Theatre of Ipswich and the Good Chance Theatre of London, had 40 young people from around the world joining in the professional ensemble in a large-scale outdoor theatre production.

There were multiple performances of the show on Friday (August 30) and Sunday (September 1).
