A woman who was stopped by officers after overtaking a police car has been convicted of drink driving.
Colchester Magistrates’ Court heard on Tuesday that Bethany Baker, 27, was driving a Vauxhall Adam in Church Hill, Ramsey, on Sunday, August 18.
Marie Ellis, prosecuting, said Baker “passed a police vehicle at speed, was braking heavily, and was taking corners really wide”.
Baker, of Oakridge, Little Oakey, was found to be over the drink drive limit and admitted one charge of drink driving.
Magistrates ordered her to pay £494 in costs and banned her from driving for 14 months.
