AN environmental group is holding an event to review its projects.
PACE (Practical Actions for Climate and Environment) Manningtree, which won a BBC Make A Difference Award this month, is reviewing the 20 projects it is running.
Current projects include the popular Earth Festival which attracted 3,000 visitors, water quality work on the Stour to test for pollution, advice to help biodiversity in gardens, and field projects with schools.
PACE chairman John Hall said: “We are looking critically at those projects to see which are the most effective at helping local people understand the changing climate and loss of nature, and what we can do about it.
“We are open to new ideas and projects that local people want to support, for example we are wanting to work more with Manningtree Library, with the Rotary Club, the parish councils and the Tendring Show.”
A forum will take place on Tuesday, October 1, at 7.30pm at Mistley Village Hall, with short presentations followed by discussions.
