ESSEX police officers seize four vehicles over two days in a crackdown on uninsured cars and people driving without a licence.
Harwich community police team officers were on patrol in Harwich and the surrounding areas.
The driver of a van travelling along Low Road, Harwich, was found to have no insurance.
Later, a Ford Fiesta on Wrabness Road had no insurance.
Both vehicles were seized.
The next day officers on mobile patrol spotted a Volkswagen Golf in Fronks Road, Harwich.
It was seized after checks revealed the driver did not have a driving licence.
Officers patrolling the Manningtree became suspicious of another vehicle which was also found to be uninsured.
All vehicles were seized under the Road Traffic Act and the drivers were reported.
Driving an uninsured vehicle can result in an offender receiving six penalty points on their licence and a £300 fine.
