EMPLOYEES dressed in blue superhero capes and eye masks took part in Harwich’s 170th Harwich Guy Carnival.
SATO, known for producing over three billion labels a year from its Harwich factory on Valley Road is one of the largest employees in Harwich, and took part in this year’s Harwich Guy Carnival on Saturday.
SATO’s team, known as the “Label Heroes of Harwich,” wore blue superhero capes and eye masks.
While the group was also armed with label pricing gun machines and towed a giant label printer on a trailer - part of the carnival’s tradition of floats and walking groups lining the streets of Harwich and Dovercourt.
Ginette May, marketing manager at SATO UK, said: “We thoroughly enjoyed participating in the Harwich Guy Carnival.”
“It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with the community, celebrate our shared heritage, and support local charities.”
Ms May added: “We joined in the bucket donations for local charities and handed out Label Hero stickers to children along the route. We were fortunate that the rain held off, making the event even more enjoyable.
“We are pleased to have been part of this memorable celebration of community spirit and togetherness.”
