A SPIRITUAL mind and body festival is to take place in Harwich to raise money for St Helena Hospice.
The event taking place on December 1, is being run by Jennifer O’Mahony, a holistic massage therapist and angel healing reiki practitioner, who said: “I work part time at St Helena Hospice where my friend Katie Suley was in their care.
“Her mum Sophie Suley also has a table at my event where she's selling handmade jewellery. St Helena Hospice is an extremely important charity who do a lot for the Tendring community."
Jennifer is also running the event for Harwich Tendring Sing Voices (HTSV), who have helped her four-year-old daughter gain confidence after the pandemic.
Jennifer said that she has also made an “amazing” friend with Harwich Tendring Sing Voices’s founder Clare Leach, adding: “I’m in the adults’ choir and I moved from Romford to Harwich in 2018 and because of the choir I have more friends than I ever did living in Romford - I class Harwich as my real home.
“The love and kindness everyone had shown to my daughter and myself is just amazing.”
The event will take place from 11am to 5pm at the Harwich Arts and Heritage Centre on December 1 with free entry and donations welcome.
