HARWICH fell silent as people gathered to pay their respects to those who paid the ultimate sacrifice.

The tribute took place on Sunday November 10, with military figures and residents paying their respects.

The public paid their respects to the many who gave their sacrifice for our freedom by coming to observe three memorials held in the town.
