A 31-year-old man found dead in a Dovercourt flat has been named as Mark Rees.

Mr Rees, of Diss, Norfolk, was found dead at a flat in Churchill Court, Parkeston Road, in the early hours of this morning.

It is believed the flat belongs to his mother.

A spokesperson from Essex Police said: “Detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a man in Dovercourt.”

A spokesperson from the East of England Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 5am to this address where a man in his 30s had been taken ill and suffered a cardiac arrest.”
