COLCHESTER Crusaders sprung a surprise after reaching the Terry Martin Trophy Final.
The Colchester and District Sunday League division three side won 2-1 against Ramsey and Mistley Reserves, of division two, at Shrub End.
Goals from Dave Franklin and Aaron Finch were enough for Crusaders to book a place against either Feering Village or Riverbank Athletic, in the final.
In the Fowler Memorial Cup quarter-finals, Duckpond progressed to the last four after beating Sokretetz 3-1 thanks to a hat-trick from Joe Knight.
Iceni Wanderers' Alexis Pryke achieved the same feat after scoring three times in his team's 3-2 triumph over Vagabonds, with his third goal coming in the very last minute of extra-time.
Harts recovered from a goal down against FC Byair to win 3-1.
Duckpond will face Iceni in the second semi-final, while Harts await the winners of the Sunday Shrimpers and Marquis tie.
In division one, Fifteen Degrees drew 1-1 with Fordham Athletic while Pathfields were unable to raise a side against Vikings Flag.
The three points from that match puts Vikings second, seven points behind the leaders with three games in hand.
In division two, Cusa beat Great Oakley 4-2 to complete their league programme in fourth spot.
