CHASE Lane Primary School pupils have made unprecedented sporting strides this year, representing Harwich and the Tendring District in six Essex county finals.
The academic term closing sees the school reflecting on victories achieved in boys' football, dodgeball, tag rugby, indoor athletics, cross country, and cricket.
According to the school, the pupils' exceptional performances have sprung from hard work, talent and a sense of sportsmanship.
Held against larger schools from bigger towns and cities, with superior sporting facilities and larger catchment areas, their participation in the county finals is an accomplishment that has the school glowing with pride.
The school's representative said: "As a school, we are super proud of our pupils, they continue to perform outstandingly well and showcase their talents with tremendous humility, whilst always ensuring they show great sportsmanship to all competitors."
Additionally, the school anticipates the successful sporting future of its pupils, especially the outgoing Year 6 batch, who have contributed en masse to the school's athletic achievements.
The representative added further: "We wish all of our Year 6 pupils who have represented the school in sport, lots of success in the future, we hope you continue to shine in PE and sport and cherish the memories you have created."
Amid their performance highs, the school has also been overwhelmed with joy for recently receiving recognition via the school games mark GOLD award for the fourth consecutive year.
The representative concluded: "We are absolutely thrilled to have been recently awarded and recognised with a school games mark GOLD award for the fourth consecutive year in a row.
"It is fantastic to highlight and celebrate our sporting achievements as a school, whilst recognising the fully inclusive, broad and diverse PE programme and range of opportunities available to our pupils.
"Our aim as a school is to now achieve the platinum award."
