HARWICH and Dovercourt Rugby Club is hosting a special Saracens professional training camp for children aged under six to 13.

Saracens, established in 1876, are London's premier rugby club, and this is the second time Harwich and Dovercourt have hosted such an event.

The two-day training camp will be held at the club's Low Road Ground from August 19 to 20, covering school years 1 to 9, and is for all levels of experience, including beginners.

Saracens Rugby Camps aim to provide a unique experience for young people by giving them a chance to learn new skills which not only benefit them on a rugby field but also develop them as a person.

This includes challenging young people to set goals and also improving leadership and problem-solving skills which will help them throughout their rugby careers and beyond.

There are a limited number of spaces available which can be booked via the Saracens or rugby club website.

The two day camp runs from 9.30am to 3pm each day, costing from £50.48 for one half day to £80.48 for a full day.
